Business Listing Terms

1. Listing Eligibility

By submitting or requesting a listing, you confirm that:

• You are authorised to represent the business
• All information provided is accurate and not misleading
• The business operates legally within its jurisdiction

2. Listing Review Process

All listings are subject to review. Mika Locals reserves the right to:

• Approve or reject any listing
• Edit content for clarity, formatting, or consistency
• Request additional information before approval

Submission does not guarantee inclusion.

3. No Guarantee of Visibility

Being listed on Mika Locals does not guarantee:

• Search ranking
• Visibility or reach
• Leads or customer enquiries

We do not operate on a pay-for-ranking model.

4. Accuracy of Information

Businesses are responsible for:

• Keeping their information accurate and up to date
• Notifying us of changes

We are not responsible for outdated or incorrect listings.

5. Removal of Listings

We may remove or suspend listings if:

• Information is false or misleading
• The business violates laws or regulations
• Complaints or issues arise
• The listing does not meet platform standards

6. Platform Independence

Mika Locals operates independently and does not:

• Guarantee endorsements
• Certify business quality
• Take responsibility for services provided by listed businesses

Users must make their own decisions.

7. Use of Submitted Content

By submitting a listing, you grant Mika Locals a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display, edit, and distribute your business information within the platform.

8. Mika Sites Website Builder

Mika Locals offers an optional integration with Mika Sites, a website builder operated by Mika Digital. If you choose to use this feature:

• Your profile data (business name, contact details, logo, images, location) will be shared with Mika Sites to generate your website
• The connection is triggered only when you click “Build Website” — it does not happen automatically when you claim or update your listing
• After connecting, profile updates in Mika Locals may sync automatically to your Mika Sites website, and vice versa
• Mika Sites is a separate platform with its own pricing and terms of service
• To disconnect the integration, contact contact@mikadigital.com.au

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued listing implies acceptance.
